Tenerife, Finca Palo alto, La Casita (Studio)

Situation: The finca "palo alto" consists of 5 detached country houses. The finca lies in the community "Guia de Isora" on the sunny west side of the island at a height of approx. 800m and is situated in a small mountain village. The distance from the main road is only 2km and leads through vinyards and along a romantic canyon. An ideal site for restful days in which to enjoy the surrounding nature. From the airport it is 35km to the finca, and on the way you pass Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos, both at a distance of about 20km. From the finca it takes 20 minutes to reach the beach Playa San Juan. The small provincial town called Guia de Isora can be reached within five minutes. The surroundings of the landhouse: The formerly old, but expensively restored farm house is situated on the border of the village and is accessible by way of a small tarred road. The beautiful situation on the mountain slope offers a magnificent view on the western part of the island and on the deep blue Atlantic. Various walking paths are in the immediate vicinity and it is only a few kilometers from the National Park "Canadas del Teide". The ancient charm of the house, lovingly renovated, has lost nothing of its former atmosphere despite the modern, technical equipment that was built in. La Casita (Studio):

"La Casita" means the small house and it is our smallest house but very cosily. The walls of this old house are made with natural stones and plastered. Therefore the climate of the house is good-natured.		Near the entrance to the country house is a roof-covered south-west terrace (12sqm) with garden furniture, from where one can enjoy the lovely view over the valley and the Atlantic.



The finca is free from electro-smog radiation. We also have used only natural products while we have renovated the house.


In the living room is a comfortable couch. Sat-TV-equipment with european programs and also radio.		The modern kitchen contains an electric hob with 2 plates, refrigerator, sink, coffee machine, toaster, water kettle and juicer. 2 persons can be seated at the small dining place besides the kitchen.
From the living room is direct access via a large glas sliding door to the terrace. The house is just a few steps away from the solar heated common swimming pool, the sauna-house and the whirlpool.

The common washing machine stands in a small outhouse nearby. In the winter months warm clothing is recommended as at the height of 800m it can become cool, particularly in the evenings, wherefore a electric heater is in the living room to provide warmth. It is strongly recommended to hire a car. Shopping possibilities are in the next village at a distance of about 3kms.Here you also find restaurants and bars.

The house consists of: 1 living /bedroom 1 bath room ensuite 1 kitchenette 1 terrace (12sqm) heating common sauna, whirlpool and moderate solar heated swimming pool (only for guests of finca Palo alto) Sat-Tv-Radio. Internet via W-LAN. Sat-TV-equipment with radio. Amount of people: max. 2 Baby cot and high baby chair is available for rent. Washing machine. There are enough towels and bed linen for a weekly change. Car rental: strongly recommended. Please contact us for reservation. Mid-clean possible on request. For the winter month warm clothing is recommended. Price per day: Euro 528,--/week (Euro 75,--/day) Pets: not allowed Welcome present: 1 bottle of land wine.

		The house is designed for only 2 Persons and consist of 1 combined living/ bedroom (appr. 20sqm) with large doble bed and seperate mattresses (2 x 0,80m x 1,90m) The bedroom has an own bathroom ensuite (shower, hand basin, W.C.), outfitted with hair dryer, cosmetic mirror and bathing-wraps.
