Casa "Amarilla"

Situation:
The finca "palo alto" consists of 5 detached country houses. The finca, in the community "Guia de Isora", on the sunny west side of the island at a height of approx. 800m and is situated in a small mountain village. The distance from the main road is only 2km and leads through vinyards and along a romantic canyon. An ideal site for restful days in which to enjoy the surrounding nature. From the airport it is 35km to the finca, and on the way you pass Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos, both at a distance of about 20km. From the finca it takes 20 minutes to reach the beach Playa San Juan. The small provincial town called Guia de Isora can be reached within five minutes.

The surroundings of the landhouse:
The formerly old, but expensively restored farm house is situated on the border of the village and is accessible by way of a small tarred road. The last part (30m) can only be reached by foot and is therefore exempt of traffic. The beautiful situation on the mountain slope offers a magnificent view on the western part of the island and on the deep blue Atlantic. Various walking paths are in the immediate vicinity and it is only a few kilometers from the National Park "Canadas del Teide".

Description of country house "Casa Amarilla"

The ancient charm of the house, lovingly renovated, has lost nothing of its former atmosphere despite the modern, technical equipment that was built in. Near the entrance to the country house is a large roof-covered sun terrace (7mx4m)with outdoor furniture, from where one can enjoy the lovely view over
the valley and the Atlantic.

The walls of this old house are made with natural stones and plastered. Therefore the climate of the house is pleasant. We used only natural materials when renovating the house. The finca is free from electro-smog radiation.

An ideal spot for having breakfast under the first sunrays and to watch the fascinating sunset in the evening. From this roof terrace you have a magnificent view on the sea.

		The spacious living room (16sqm) is comfortably furnished. Further a Sat-TV with radio is at disposal. The house is designed for 2 persons, but in the living room there is an additinal sleeping couch for another 2 persons. Behind the house is a second bathroom for additional guests.

		The modern kitchen contains an electric ceran-hob with 4 plates, electric oven, refrigerator, sink, coffee machine, toaster, water kettle and juicer. 4 persons can be seated at the dining table in the kitchen.

Comfortable bedroom, with double beds (2 x 80x190cm).

		The bedroom has its own bathroom ensuite with shower, hand basin, and W.C., outfitted with hair dryer, cosmetic mirror and bathing-wraps .

Directly near the house is a kitchen- garden with various herbs. The mutual washing machine for all guests stands in a small outer house nearby. Moreover a common sauna and a swimming pool are at disposal. In the winter months warm clothing is recommended, as at the height of 800m it can become cool, particularly in the evenings, wherefore a gas oven has been installed in the living room to provide warmth. It is strongly recommended to hire a car. Shopping possibilities are in the next village at a distance of about 3kms. There you also find restaurants and bars. The farm consists of: 1 living room 1 bedroom 1 bathroom kitchen with dining terrace roof terrace heating common sauna (only for guests of finca Palo alto) common solar heated swimmingpool (only for guests of finca Palo alto) common hot whirlpool with 38°C hot water. (only for guests of finca Palo alto) mutual washing machine. Sat-TV-equipment. Internet via W-LAN. Amount of people: max. 4 Baby cot and high baby chair is available for rent. There are enough towels and bed linen for a weekly change. Price per day: EUR 688,--/week ( € 98,--/day) every additional person € 17,-- Pets: not allowed Welcome present: 1 bottle of land wine.

From the living room one steps out directly to the south terrace where the sun shines brightly in the morning to enjoy your breakfast outdoors. A portable charcoal grill for barbecue is also installed on the terrace.
